Ratu Marutle, professionally known as Beloved, is a multidisciplinary artist, music curator, interior designer, and mystic whose work is a dynamic fusion of the ethereal and the earthy, the playful and the introspective. Her name, Beloved, reflects both the English translation of her South African name, Ratu, and her artistic philosophy, inspired by the teachings of Sufi mystic Hazrat Inayat Khan. For Beloved, music is God—free from all forms and thoughts—and beauty is the Beloved we see with our physical eyes.
